Depending on how much you install get ready to spend a whole day doing it at my level. I installed 8 of these to get rid of our ridiculous amount of bikes. Installation isn't bad if you do it and know how the process works. It's still a work and not the manufacturer's fault. You're on the stairs, your hands on the ceiling above your head. To put it mildly, it's not an easy task. 8 a day is perfectly doable, although I'm living proof. The elevators work as they should. The locking mechanism works well. I didn't bend any of the hooks as I thought they would hold the bike great. I've been using it for months with no problems. The only problem I think will arise is that the ropes will wear out over time because they go through the locking mechanism. If so, I'll upgrade the rope and keep using it. I also used better quality and longer screws for installation. The ones that come with it are junk. Still great value for money. Garage space is priceless. 3 car garage with 8 bikes, 4 ATVs, 7 kayaks, 2 dirt bikes and tons of scooters, ball gear and tools. Oh yes, there are no cars parked there, toys and equipment are much more important to take care of everything.
