Excellent product especially for shy reptiles that prefer to bask without light. My snakes love them. I bought three packs and one was broken on arrival but as soon as I got in touch they sent me a replacement. No problem. Excellent customer service. I will definitely buy more for other tanks in the future. We will also try some of these when we hatch chicks and chicks this spring. It will be a good source of heat at night. One thing to be careful about. Be sure to keep an eye on them when you first use them. You'll need to adjust the heat setting until you find what works for your animal or plant, and specifically how far away the lamp is from them. We played with it for several hours and found that we only needed it for a third of the performance, which we weren't expecting. You just don't want to burn someone if it's too hot and too close.
