They work just as well as the Pumie sponges I bought at Walmart. I don't store them after use (there usually isn't enough left to actually store them anyway) so I keep 6 of these in a pack to make sure I have one on hand when I need it. We have hard well water and 2 small children who are not very good at flushing after leaving, so we are saving quite a bit. They really help get toilets clean again without the use of all sorts of chemicals. That said, you have to give your elbow a little grease and get up close and personal with a rough toilet.
