When I first got this it didn't seem to show the correct current temperature or high/low room temperature. I wanted to return it. I put it in our fridge, which maintains a tightly controlled temperature that we maintain on a daily basis. It turns out to be accurate and within the range we're tracking. My only concern is the battery because it's internal and batteries tend to drain slower when it's cold. If so, I could spend more for one with a remote sensor so the unit can be taken out of the fridge. The time will show.
