Increase the signal level.
Antronix has increased the signal strength of all of my HDTV antenna stations, in some cases from 50-60 to high 80 and low 90. (One of my TVs has a signal strength meter, which is handy). My previous booster was a similar Radio Shack (which tells you how old it is). But even on Antronix's best days, Radio Shack's accelerator wins. Of course, any amplifier works best with a good antenna.
