Excellent quality. It is 3cm in diameter and was the largest I could find. I was hoping to make a thick blanket out of it. At 65 yards per skein I was able to knit (without needles) to 48" x 15". I need multiple skeins to make a blanket. But it was very hard. So if you want to use it for a very thick pillowcase or put it at the foot of your bed for decoration, that's great. But it won't envelop you like a cozy blanket. In my photo the slippers are 11 inches long so you can see the size of the stitches.
