This is an honest review from someone who just bought a lot of these hangers, enough to fit my entire closet. In the end I returned everything. I cannot recommend these hangers. The company's quality control is very poor. You get what you pay for. 1) The 10 pack is not durable as advertised. I bought several packs of 10 hangers because they were cheaper than boxes of 50. Both have the exact same advertised product description and label as improved. However, when they arrived it was pretty obvious that the 10 pack hangers weren't made for heavy use. They were very flimsy and some of the hangers broke the metal hook. So I ordered 50 packs of Heavy Duty for comparison and it was indeed Heavy Duty. It was obvious that they were two different types of hangers. I am attaching a photo to show the difference in thickness. It was a little difficult to photograph, but the hanger on the right side of the 50th pack was thicker and more stable than the left hanger of the 10th pack, which was thin and easily broken. This is false advertising. 2) Poor quality control is not acceptable. I had to go through each hanger to inspect the "velvet" which turned out to be a thin layer of sprayed-on fluff. Many appeared to have been "patched" where the original velvet had probably been torn off, and then a cheap glued patch was added to cover it. The spots were rough, not smooth, slightly different in color and clearly visible. Also, many of the velvet tops were not covered with velvet where they meet the metal hook and were rough and unattractive. Of the 150 hangers, 100 were "good" velvet. Although they were still flimsy "standard" hangers. 3) Several hangers had an ugly green tint of peas. When the 50 pack arrived the whole pack was this horrible greenish beige color, not the rich camel color advertised or on most standard 10 pack hangers. If you want your closet to have all the hangers the same color, which was my goal, then you're not going to like this. I gave this product 2 stars instead of 1 because these hangers may suit those who want to organize their closet on a budget, don't care that all hangers are the same, or don't hang heavy items. The point is, you get what you pay for. I hope I will save you the hassle of going to the UPS store where I will collect my returns. I will stay away from this Made in China product and company in the future.
