I bought these a few months ago and most of them are holding up. 2 of them ended up frayed closest to the clasp. All "loops" are in good condition. Some of them have "hard" clasps that take a little more effort to open, while others open so easily that my 5 month old can pull and the clasp pops open. The fabric definitely holds the smell. My baby vomited milk and got dirty. When we come home to wash it properly, the smell is already there. Simply rinsing with soapy water does not help. You must either soak them or put them in the washing machine if you want the smell to go away completely.
