Bought because it had a right-hand power plug (handy in tight spaces and on computer desks). Must have a minimum 6ft 110v power cord {Supplies with 4ft x 2 plugs only}. The addition of a power-on LED would make it an ideal low cost alternative to expensive factory power supplies. Unfortunately, every day since I started using the DELL AC adapter I get the message that this device is NOT compatible with my DELL 5755 Inspiron laptop and will not sufficiently charge a new battery! And it's not (think DELL somehow reduced the battery charge rate for this device), and the battery performance is gradually declining! I had to reinstall the DELL factory charger to charge the battery.
