Didn't work for me - cables and connections

probably an app issue for me - but - I have 2 of these to try, smartphones with in car theater systems in my 16 year old Dodge to connect Durango. neither cable allowed me to see or hear anything on the video screen. Maybe they work in another application but not for what I bought them for.
