I bought this to walk my German Shepherd. She weighs more than half my weight and loves to hunt rabbits on our walks through our territory, requiring me to grab her rope leash more than just a leather-covered noose at the end. As you understand, I had to get rid of the calluses that I had formed. These gloves are great! No matter how hard my dog pulls, I no longer worry about bruising my hands or the possibility of my dog's leash slipping out of my grip. I've been using them for a few weeks now and am very happy with this purchase so far.
