Update: After over a year of use, my frustration was overwhelming. Vacuum cleaner is good, cleaning is good. But what about the hose? It sticks out at the top, like I do on a Ghostbuater, and rotates in such a way that I either get hit in the head every time it extends, or it rotates behind the body and I briefly reach . The hose is not long and does not drape. It stands out like I'm Dan Akroid limping around the house tearing pictures off walls and bumping into door frames. And the metal rod never came out easily. I have to fight it. Why did you put the inlet on top? And the coiling of the power cord still annoys me. The pins are so close together that it takes an incredible amount of loops to wrap them around. I bought it hoping it would replace the convenience of a central vacuum but it didn't work and I'm looking for something else. This review is also intended for designers. .Cons: Straps are scratchy, rough, nothing for a leotard. I'm 5'4" and 125" and the waist belt is just too big for me, very tight, still loose. When I'm not using it it gets in the way, which means I close it so the straps don't get in the way. The hose is attached at the top and because of the swivel, it sometimes twists or just gets caught on you. Head. Maybe if the hose comes out closer to the middle? I'm right-handed, so I'm right-handed. ;) The retractable pole is too tight. Yes, I disengaged the lever all the way, but the metal ends inside scratched the outer surface of the inner tube. And HARD to set up. It can only be my fault. Mr. Fixit plans to file/smooth the ends of the pipes. The cord is long enough but the winding points are too close together meaning there are a lot of scratches that could be reduced if they were further apart. Pros: I like its portability. My new home doesn't have a central vacuum, which I quickly got used to in my last home, which is the best part. I might wish it weighed less, but I'm being sensible here. This is a vacuum cleaner, and a good one at that, not a dust collector. So far I've only used the wide hard floor adapter and the sharp corner adapter, but both are great. Amazing suction power. was smart and I appreciate cool humor.
