Writing this review after almost 2 years of use. For the price, it served its purpose very well. However, if you put any sort of load on it at all (monitors, a PC, laptop, etc.) it freaks very badly. Over the 2 years I used it, I replaced the screws, put shims in between the metal contact surfaces, used grease on the threads and contact surfaces. None of these stopped the awful creaking noises. I could tell whenever one of my cats was on the desk from across my hole because the desk would loudly creak.There are better options available for only marginally more cost. If you will be using this desk as much as I have (WFH for 2 years with it), spend a little more and get a nicer desk.If you just want a space to do some work when you are home, or as a desk for an alternative purpose, this would be a great affordable option.
