For years my HP C4180 printer was not used because I didn't want to spend close to $50 to get more ink for it. I bought a new printer a long time ago and my old HP printer was just gathering dust. Recently my daughter became interested in an old printer and we checked with Revain to see if they had ink. We found and bought $9 worth of Valuetoner ink. Here's what I think of them: Pros: First, they're packaged very well. I received ink with not very good protection and was glad it was so well protected. The quality of print jobs we got with these inks was very comparable to the quality we got with genuine HP inks. ink cartridges. We ran several tests and they all turned out great. Because they are remanufactured, some issues may arise during the installation process. Valuetoner is aware of this and offers a very good guide list that offers a variety of troubleshooting tips and tricks. I was able to refer to this link and get the cartridges to work correctly. As I mentioned earlier, I was able to purchase this for about $9. Anyone who buys printer ink knows that this is a MUCH better price than what printer manufacturers sell their ink for. the complexity of the installation. While these cartridges ended up working, I encountered many problems when trying to get them to work. Overall the cartridges work, the ink looks great on paper and I'm very happy with the price. Even the problems I encountered while setting it up were worth the money I saved by going this route.
