I have the original, that is, the "Original" model, from 2002 to even "400", that is, literally now in the museum (see wiki). Rumba, who has spent the last 15 years in. Well, somewhere far from our eyes. This battery gave him life back. It takes very little time. I remember it used to be about 20 minutes. This one goes well beyond that, so I don't have any capacity issues. Very happy with it. One thing to know about those old vacuums: This replacement is NiMH. I believe the original was NiCd. Electrically they are practically identical, but there are some differences, in particular the charging current can be a bit high. If the battery is left unattended to charge, it will get very hot, around 60-70Β°C. The original manual recommends unattended charging for up to 12 hours. I could fiddle with the charger later to reduce the charging current, but for now I'm trying to control the charging temperature and if it feels too warm I'll turn it off to let it cool down. If you charge it about 3-4 hours at a time, it won't get very hot and will still charge well. If you have a really old Rumba, we just need this battery.
