After purchasing this mouse pad I decided to wait to see how it holds up. Fair reported that I didn't use this mouse pad for its intended purpose as I made a laptop game board out of it. The first thing that struck me is that the material is thick and pleasant to the touch, the colors are very bright with rich blacks and a good touch. As for the regular desk pad, that's where it ends for me as I glued it, stretched it and attached this mouse pad to the blackboard to set up the sofa with the keyboard. After about 4 months of use, the thing has shown itself well. I have since given it to my son for his computer which is hooked up to his TV. I will be ordering a new one to build a platform for my Razer Turret keyboard (although it's not acceptable at the moment), this setup is so good and the mouse pad feel and movement is like butter. that again.
