I bought this after a mid-life crisis. I cut my hair about 8 inches and after about a week I realized what a mistake I had made. Now. I ordered the very long ones, 20 inches, and that was kind of a mistake too, as I found out afterwards. You cannot order long hair with short hair. I learned from the hair extensions video to ONLY order MAX 12 inches if your hair is past your shoulders. I went to my salon and layered them all (I bought 2 sets) but unless I curl them every time they don't blend either. So back to the salon, I'll be back this week to layer it up a bit. Also, they are super-ez to put on, it only takes me about 7 minutes to put them on and I use them all. the sets i bought except 1 4pcs. I recommend to buy 2 sets for extra mixing but i think it depends on hair type and style. maybe 1 set is enough, but I still recommend TWO sets. Very happy with my purchase and I have already washed and conditioned them, used hair products in them, they are seriously real hair and work as such. 5-6 times and I had to go to the hairdresser and watch a few videos to really understand them but after wearing them for the 3rd time I do them just as well now but I have an amazing stylist who explains in detail has how to do it. Tease and position them in a way that helps, too. You will love it. As for the negative reviews, I'm sorry they had issues. But I've seen that most don't, and I haven't had any problems either. I wear mine about once a week and put groceries, hot curlers and hairspray on them each time and they work great. I clean them every time before I wear them and have only washed them once so far. They are the same as the day I pulled them out of the sleeves they were in, just with an extra curl, but now. For me they are very soft and durable. But I'm very careful and I love her like you should. Happy hair days!<3
