Like the other reviewer, I bought this scale from Sam's Club (because it was a bit cheaper there than Revine). I really liked it - I've calibrated it with different weights and it was very accurate even when I wanted to weigh small items (e.g. 50g calibration weights) while still having enough weight capacity to weigh almost anything to weigh what I needed. I've used it primarily for weighing grain for home brewing in quantities ranging from 1 to 10 pounds. Unfortunately, after 8 months, I decided to weigh my dog with it and suddenly realized that he just didn't show any weight. The remote electronics seem to be working fine and I've tried new batteries and verified the integrity of the cord leading me to suspect that the load cell/load cell in the base is no longer working. 1 year guarantee, but I threw away the proof of purchase a long time ago. I'm debating whether to take a chance on Chinese roulette (buy another one) or if I can find another scale.
