(WARNING! This is a detailed review. If you prefer a summary read the section with BOTTOM LINE label) --- ------------------I'm a makeup designer. I have used many products from many cosmetic lines, from the cheapest to the most expensive. From retail to professionals. I have reviewed and worked with 3 pallets from this company. Let's take a look. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR Eyeshadow, this is what I'm looking for. Does it give off a shine or is it flat? - Is it easy to apply with a brush? - Does she smell? - Does she have sensitivity problems? - Do the colors go well together? PALETTE This palette is well made, very attractive and honestly looks really WONDERFUL. COLORS The colors in this palette are particularly effective for people with red, brown, caramel/golden blonde or brown hair. If you don't like copper, red, orange, coral or warm gold tones, this palette will most likely look flamboyant and clownesque on you. This is the perfect color for shading, as well as for the eyelids and inner corners of the eyes. They are like silk and when applied with a brush they blend beautifully to create a beautiful vibrant colour. They're not too chalky, so don't look too powdery. They do not emphasize mature wrinkles around the eyes and a crepe look. They are not only easy to apply with a brush, but also good for shading. Belonging to the same color family, they blend beautifully into a transition. If you use it on a sponge applicator or on your fingertip (make sure it's clean and dry), you can use the gold as highlights on the middle eyelid and under the brow bone. It's really pretty and the aligned edges blend well. They also don't accentuate mature lines or sagging skin. SEEM TO BE. To be honest, I don't like the bright colors here at all. I wish they would give us a nice dark brown, olive green, or some other accent color in the shimmer section instead. It's really useless, and unless you're using something like Too Faced Glitter Glue or Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy, it's really not worth trying. I would be concerned about getting it in the eyes even if you use it outside the eye area. WILL THESE STAINS STOP? The darkest red spots will leave a small residue, but they will be removed with a few coats of makeup remover. It is not so bad. DO YOU MIX WELL? They don't blend as well as brands like Viseart and Makeup Forever, but they tend to be more professional lines, so that's not uncommon. These colors go much better together than the other two palettes from this company that I tested in different eye scenarios. Both a round droplet brush and a flat eyeshadow brush came to me. I've also used them with a brow brush and used them on my brows for different hair colors. SENSITIVITY AND FRAGRANCE I have not detected any odor with this palette and have not had any sensitivity issues in any of my tests so far. They were tested with and without primer. I personally have sensitive eyes and they haven't bothered me yet. GLOW OR FLAT? These shadows with the right hair color and a combination of factors in daylight give a beautiful shine. In artificial LED light, they look more clownish or brick-red. This works with red or light brown hair, but copper might look a little off. Also, golden blonde or golden brown can look weird too. ARE THESE WATERPROOF? I didn't have that experience with them. I wouldn't rely on them being waterproof. They can be set with makeup spray to make them last longer, especially when wet, but I wouldn't attempt to swim or run in the pouring rain if I expect them to stay perfect. WAIT - THERE'S MORE! They are great for brows and cheeks as a blush. If you're glowing in shades of orange, copper, or orange-red (as many darker people do), then this will work well for a fuller face in a pinch. Highlighter can be made golden if you do it with a light hand. It's universal. CONCLUSION: These shadows are a really good collection. They're not the best in the line, but they definitely offer a great choice for a very natural color combo that will look gorgeous on red, auburn, golden blonde, auburn, or other very warm reddish/orange skin tones. . Many dark-skinned people have orange or coral skin tones, and they also lend themselves not only to eyes, but to blush as well. at a great price. The color combination is great for the right people, and despite the lack of brown, it still looks very natural and beautiful. FIVE STARS. PHOTOS I did this on a woman with red hair to show you how natural it can look.
