1 roll of 1/4 inch brown tape used to trace the Artscape New Leaf decorative window film on the ceiling lights, attempting to mimic the guide lines in the stained glass windows. The brown tape looked black against the lighting, but there was also a lot of black in the film design, so it worked. The tape was very easy to handle even with long strips; it didn't curl, tangle, or get stuck on its own. My job (4 light panels and 2 door windows) used 1172 inches of tape so one roll was enough and still had over 100 inches to patch and fill. If you want to try this design too, I noticed that the tape peeled off the corner crossings overnight so I had to lift the corners and redo it the next day. It is better to apply a double layer so that the tape does not stretch. Very happy with the results and MUCH cheaper than real stained glass!
