Well made product. The wood turned out to be unprotected, I sealed the wooden part against liquids with olive oil, the only thing I knew that might work. Everything seems fine. I had another wooden pepper mill that was not sealed and over time the wood broke and became difficult to use. This product has removable end caps that provide a moisture barrier through the end cap. So far, so good. I like to use it, not a problem but a solution. you will like it
