I've bought several Soliom cameras recently. I'm here to do a comparison between the S600 model and the S100 model. Both cameras have excellent picture quality during the day. The S100 doesn't use infrared in its night vision, instead using LEDs to illuminate the area. As with both cameras, the scene is in color when using the LED light mode for night shots. IR black and white. At first I thought this would be a major downside for the S100, but it has exceptional night vision so it wasn't that much of an issue in the end. However, the field of view may not be as wide as the IR image. Setup was easy. Charge the device, install the mount and attach the camera to the mount. Setting up the camera only takes about 5 minutes. It doesn't have pan or tilt functionality, but if you want a stationary camera, this is a great camera. So far the battery has stayed 100% charged even on cloudy days and I am impressed with the charging speed of the built in solar panel. I recommend this camera if you are interested in buying a fixed security camera.
