Great machine for hand and power tools

This machine did a great job. The only assembly was to insert the handle. Read the manual as it contains application tips. Notice how the pieces fit together. There are tabs that fit into slots on the dirty water cover and brush head cover. There were complaints of dirty water coming out of it, but that was because they didn't install the tank properly. He will take his place. I didn't have to wear any parts because everything fit perfectly. I had no leaks other than what was dripping from the brushes.1. Use warm water in the fresh water tank.2. Use the concentrated detergent in the detergent bottle. Does not require dilution, saving time. I was able to get 3 12'x12', 1 20'x10', 1 20'x15' and 1 10'x10' as well as a corridor with a sample bottle and 5 oz. Detergent by the gallon I bought.3. When cleaning/rinsing, the machine dispenses soap/water when you push forward. Move slowly, but not so much that the area becomes oversaturated. It has indicators on the brush head that say "wash" as you continue. If the area is not heavily trafficked or dirty, 1-2 "washโ€ passes will suffice.4. Upon removal, the display will show "Dry". This happens when you pull back over an area. I've found that a slower withdrawal than applying cleanser/water is great for getting a good extraction.5. To rinse, remove the detergent dispenser. That's why I didn't run out of detergent. Now you only use warm water to rinse the carpet. The same process is slower when pulling to eject than when pushing to eject. Do this until the water entering the brush head is less soapy. Again, don't oversaturate the carpet. Probably just need a few passes.6. After rinsing, press the Dry Only button next to the handle. I love this feature. I spent more time on it than washing/rinsing. Slower pulling again. Work the section until water stops flowing onto the brush head. My rugs were dry in about 1 hour if you take the time to take them out. I also included a box fan to circulate air around the room when I'm done with that. When you're ready to move on to the next section, press the Dry Only button again to turn it off and reinsert the detergent bottle. It also resets when you turn the car off, but I usually left it on and kept moving unless I needed to drain dirty water or top up with clean water. When emptying a dirty container, rinse out the entire container, including the non-removable red screen and lid. First ensure that the two tabs on the back of the cover fit into the slots, then close the cover and snap it into place (see image). When you put the container back on the machine, insert the bottom at an angle from the front and then insert it into the desired position (see picture). You did it right when you heard the click. Requires no compulsion at all. I haven't had any leaks as long as it was properly installed and clicked. Also clean the brush head cover regularly. It is easy to remove and fill with hair and pile. The suction works better if you keep it clean. When you reattach it, line up the two tabs next to the slotted latch. (see photo) Paste first, then press to click. No need to force.8. My device came with a hose and ladder attachment. The kit comes with two brushes. I used the rubber to pull out the dog hair. The hose has reached 7 levels. The head has a trigger for spraying soap/water. The same process is spraying the detergent onto the carpet (with my reach I was able to do 3 steps at a time). The downside is that you have to trudge down the stairs to get the detergent container out for rinsing. Spray water several times while vacuuming, then just vacuum. It did a very good job. I had to move the car to complete the landing, but that doesn't matter. If it's a problem for you or if you have more steps than you can handle, then it's better to use a portable small cleaner.9. It was very easy to clean. Rinsing the containers, removing the brush head cover and brushes was a breeze. Allow everything to dry before storage and you're done.10. Finally, a back-saving tip. Hold the area you are cleaning about 3 feet in front and as wide as you want and move left or right. Don't push yourself forward. While standing straight, pull without arching your back. This is a slow process. It's nice that I now have a car and can take care of it more regularly than when I rented it "once a year".
