My advice is to put it in a ziplock bag when not in use, otherwise it will dry out and be more difficult to attach, especially to the wiring. I'm sure I'll experiment with different types, but I originally bought this one because of the reviews. I have to say that it makes soldering a lot less frustrating, especially if you weren't that good at soldering to begin with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has never used flux.
