Also works very well in daylight. It's very bright and the multiple strobe modes to choose from make it a great choice for a variety of uses and situations. I mounted it in the tailgate, hung it from the ceiling. The slim design hardly obstructs the already restricted view from the rear window. I use it in my '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee as an emergency light for everything from towing a small utility trailer to standing at the side of the road, or even when you need some extra light for something. The all inclusive mode is a nice feature and quite bright. I only have 2 complaints: First, 1 out of 8 LED blocks doesn't work right out of the box. Short email and a new one was sent the next day. The new one works fine, so ok. My second complaint is the length of the wires from the switch to the battery. It was definitely too short for my setup situation. I didn't want to end up splicing the wires to extend them so I just ordered a cigarette lighter adapter switch. It works great and everything just plugs in with waterproof connectors. Overall I am very satisfied and would buy another one.
