Overall this is a great telescope for beginners. The fact that it comes with its own backpack is a plus. It was very easy to assemble and I could see the full moon well. The software is amazing and easy to use. My Complaints: The tripod is NOT stable and too short to be useful (mine is 5ft 7in). I almost turned into a pretzel trying to use the scope and then look through the eyepiece. I grabbed a camp chair and sat down to avoid twisting my back. We're looking for someone else. The camera attachment is not very easy to use. You have to take out your phone. its body, but no matter how light it is, it pulls the telescope out of the corner and you have to start over.
