So my laptop surface is shiny around the webcam and I've had problems with sticking stickers in the past. So far so good with that. Pros: - Closes the camera when I want it to. Obviously it's a must. It's totally opaque and fully protects my privacy - slides back and forth easily - doesn't obscure the camera unless I WANT it. I was concerned the bezel would interfere with the camera's field of view, but it's still sharp - very, very thin - doesn't bother closing my laptop at all - cheap for a 3-pack. Cons: - You get what you pay for. They may be TOO flimsy - they are thin plastic almost like film and as you can see in my photo the slider came out of frame several times during installation; I had to hold both pieces together while trying to glue the cover to the computer. As a result, it turned out crooked, which for me is buggy, with the "open” lid, with the camera not closed, it closes the "camera is active” indicator light. When the lid is "closed", the indicator light is not closed. To be honest I don't like it; I can see it's annoying when the camera is shut down and I'm trying to troubleshoot and I can't see the indicator light without closing the camera. Overall this is a good little cover and it gets the job done. . I just wish there was a little more "sliding" room so I could choose whether or not I want to cover the indicator light, and I want it to be a bit more solid. But I would still recommend it, just keep these things in mind.
