I bought this scale to bake bread. This seems to be the best value of all scales of this type. I like almost everything about it except accuracy. It's not that bad on the pound:ounce setting, but seems further from grams, although neither is constant. The products themselves may not match. I weighed a 16 ounce bag of unopened beans which weighed 15.8 ounces or 447 grams on the scale. The popcorn-filled plastic bottle was right on the money in both ounces and grams. bulk bags the labeled products differed the most from the labeled wt. which made me think that the packaging labels for wt. cannot necessarily be trusted. I haven't baked it yet but will update later based on my experience. Since baked goods are measured in percentages, this scale should work for me and allow me to avoid fiddling with lots of individual measuring containers by using weighted recipes like Ben Starr's Sourdough on You Tube.
