I had a local box on top and a remote box on bottom. It was PlugNPlay, simple, it worked out of the box with no configuration. Strangely, on the 3rd day, the remote block lost internet. I disconnected it for a few minutes and then reconnected but there is no internet, repeated several times to no avail, the LEDs all the time say everything is normal. I installed the Power Packet Utility for diagnostics and the local device showed up with no problems. But every time I unplug/plug a remote device, it shows up in the Power Packet Utility for less than a minute and then disappears. I moved the remote device to the same room as the local device, but it still doesn't show up in the Power Packet utility. Only the power LED flashes, otherwise no reaction. I've tried re-pairing both devices by holding the button for 2-3 seconds and also tried resetting them but to no avail. I bought this device because I bought Trendnet Powerline PoE a few years ago and it still works great. But these units are garbage. I'm sending it back and trying another brand.
