I like the strength of this product. If I fasten it in the right position, it goes nowhere. It takes a second to tighten properly, but if the weight isn't shifted too much it will hold. The build feels slim yet solid, reminding me of the size of a PolarPro monitor, but at almost half the price. I don't like the lack of versatility, it's the same issue you'll run into with any monitor mount of this design. My issue is that if I want to go under the strap, I have to lower the hardware, which I think is a compromise to keep it where you lock it. I also like centering the monitor, which you can't do with it. You must know what you are buying and what you are using it for when receiving this product. Sometimes a generic product may not match a specialized product designed for a specific purpose.
