Review on Protection Aluminum Protective Shockproof Dropproof by Robert Goodlow

I bought this for my XS shortly after receiving it. Provides good support without tearing or deforming pockets. Got lots of compliments and comments "Oh cool I've never seen a drop like this." The wood and frame absorb all the impact if you drop it. The tree is the worst. For me, after 4 nasty falls in a year and a half, one of the pieces of wood finally started cracking around the screw holes. I ended up replacing everything, but the occasional $20 to protect a $1,000+ phone is a normal expense for me, and I now have spare pieces of wood in case I need them. The only downside is that dirt collects on the edges where the bezel meets the phone. If you want to clean it thoroughly, you have to disassemble the frame. Be careful if you take it apart too often as the screw holes are where cracks are most likely to form.
