Much better WDH than others

Not knowing much about choosing WDH based on some blogs recommending it I took a chance and bought an Andersen 3324 for my little Jayco Hummingbird 17RB. As an engineer, I was very impressed with the quality of the components, the ease of installation and the great design based on chains rather than bars. My buddy bought another brand from WDH and when I saw that he had to use a large lever bar to tension the bars I was sooo glad I bought the Andersen. There are two things that seem to bother people that I have no problem with. Use these methods: 1. To tension the chains, all you need to do is use an electric jack to raise the hitch. No lever bars! 2. To align the triangular anti descent plate so that the pin can be installed, first try to align the tractor with the trailer as much as possible. If the pin still doesn't line up, simply turn the nut, which loosens the chain on the side that needs slack to allow the triangular plate to rotate. A bushing is provided for a nut that loosens and tensions the chains. Once you align the tractor and trailer, tighten the nut in its original position. I highly recommend this product.
