Review on Light Filtering Cordless Cellular Honeycomb Shade - 9/16" Single Cell, Sticks & Stones Design - 18" W X 48" H By BlindsAvenue by Melvin Balamani

Easy vs. Hard Installation

We noticed that several reviewers reported difficulty trying to get the blinds to snap onto the mounting brackets, while several other reviewers claimed it was easy.We have to agree with both. We ordered three blinds, and at first we couldn’t manage to get the things to clip onto the brackets no matter how hard we tried; luckily, however, we turned the blinds around and suddenly it was a cinch. If you look at the photo looking down at the top of the blinds, you’ll see that there’s a slight difference in the width of the two lips that connect to the mounting brackets. Putting the slightly thinner lip toward the outside of the window makes it easier to attach the blinds to the brackets. At least that was our experience. Hope this helps. Good luck.p.s.: The may only have been a problem for us because we ordered white-ish blinds and it wasn’t obvious which side was inside and which out.
