Works great - Soap dishes
Never used Vacuum, glue works fine, surface washed with soap then wiped with alcohol, has been on the shower wall for several weeks. If you want to deviate from my experience with these adhesives, just pry a butter knife between the wall and the adhesive and it will pop off. Any adhesive left on the wall can be removed with WD-40 and re-applied. Use 3M water strips on the wall. With 3M tape there will never be a problem. Hope that helps.
