Pin spacing is 13.5 inches, barely too close together for my compact keyboard to fit between for storage or typing. I measured to fit my compact space and need the top of the keyboard to sit under the platform so my fingers hit the top of the riser when typing. It fits the width and length of my Latitude perfectly because it sits on top. It was really easy to put together. I didn't know the pins were plastic, I thought they were metal and was looking for a non-plastic riser option. This won't work for me based on my setup, but I think the actual space between the pegs and the height of the keyboards under the riser is an important detail for use in compact rooms.
