Love my new bun hat! I like to wear a high bun when I'm out and I hate leaving my hair down in the winter to put on a hat when I go shopping, walking etc. Perfect solution! Great fit and warm. I recommend that you put the bundle in the hole first and then pull the edges down, it seems better to me. Also, I have thick Irish hair that reaches to my shoulders and I had no problem getting the bun through that hole. My hair isn't particularly long so I can't confirm it, but it's very thick. Update: I went for an hour walk in 40 degrees and a cold wind that made me feel like 35. This hat does NOT block the wind well, but it is quite warm. My ears were cold when the wind was strong, but when the wind died down I felt very comfortable. In the future I plan to wear this with the hood of a windproof jacket and everything will be fine.
