Fast data transfer speeds that extend the range of my many LAAAA USB devices. I have multiple hubs connected to them because I have 20+ devices connected to my desktop. . I live in cable hell. Definitely useful when you need a little more reach from the back of your computer. I don't know why "camera quality" is commendable, maybe because you can plug in a camera and sometimes signal that as a problem?, but I can't vouch for that spec - my webcam was a cheap item on sale at a local store, so it's poor quality anyway (just like 480p and a bit grainy). They are very fast though.
