I have used several Food Saver brands in the past. Everyone had sealing issues in one way or another. I would try again and again. That's when I came across this brand. I am completely satisfied. Seals every time and sucks every time. Cord wraps around base for easy storage. It is not recommended to close the ignition tightly as the seal could be damaged. If you have Food Saver brand bags, these are great. I only have sealed meat (wet), but I'm sure dry meat can be sealed just as easily. I can only recommend this food saver!
