I have an old Bissell robot vacuum and bought this model as an upgrade. I was very happy with my old one and have only received compliments so far. The vacuum is low enough to the floor to clean under the chairs, sofa and tables in my living room, which I can't say about any other vacuum I've owned. This model is actually a bit quieter than my old one, so a really nice surprise for which I'm grateful. The real advantage is that it can both vacuum and mop. I use the one upstairs in my house which is all wood and tile. I really don't like sweeping and mopping, so this is an incredibly efficient solution for other lazy people like me. It will never completely replace thorough house cleaning, but for a person with a cat, it is the perfect home care solution. clean enough where no one will know. This model also uses line-by-line cleaning, which I must say is a huge improvement over the last model I had that just randomly bounced around. Because of this, it seems to skip fewer areas.
