I installed a pair of windshield light brackets on a Wrangler and my stock antenna was moved to the side. It didn't look right and I was able to shorten my standard antenna or buy one. On the 9 inch version it fits perfectly, just half an inch between the lights and the top of the antenna. I bought the adapter bolt separately that was required to install it on the car. I still have good FM reception. I'm not a huge fan of FM radio but tuned in to see if it was available in decent quality. I'm also about 40 miles from most transmitting antennas. Oh, and it feels sturdy and looks beautiful.
