Review on 🎵 Experience Spotless Sound with the GrooveWasher Walnut Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit by Manuel Gfx

I run all my albums (mostly VG+ or better used vinyl, but also new ones) through the Record Friend rinse system which removes all dirt, vinyl shavings and most of the grease from fingerprints. It's okay it's not a vacuum system, but it does the job well enough. However, I have found that it tends to leave a lot. something, lint? in the grooves that come out on the first play. The needle tends to pull it out, leaving dirt on the album after playing. And the number of static pops is usually quite high on the first game. I bought a GrooveWasher to see if I could get rid of more of that dust and lint after taking the records out of their cases before playing. I was really surprised at how well this method controls static on the recording! I place the record on the platter, place the lid on the label and lightly press around the record three times with the kit's cleaning fluid. Then I turn the record over twice by hand, scoop out the liquid with a terry cloth cleaner, then roll it onto the dry part of the cleaner and turn it over twice again. Then I spin the platter, wait 10-15 seconds for the liquid on the record to dry, and then lower the needle. HUGE reduction in popping compared to just wet cleaning with Record Friend and I don't see much (if any) of that residue! heavy, it is not necessary to rub, so the player is unlikely to be damaged and the straps will tear. It's fairly low-tech but does a great job of touching up. I also noticed that the included G2 liquid removes grease from fingers better than the wet bath system. I didn't notice any deposits on the stylus after playing about 30 pages of the album, cleaned as above; I use Onzow Gel Needle Cleaner after about 6-8 turns and I haven't seen any deposits from my Ortofon 2M Red since using the GrooveWasher. I suspect YMMV but I can tell that this fluid works just as well as the old DiscWasher product from the 70's and 80's (which I had back then). I will definitely order replacement parts when the time comes. Highly recommended!
