Extremely disappointed!

Terrible customer service experience. Just unboxed this motherboard and installed it into our gaming build. All was going well until it was time to plug in an ethernet cable to connect to the network. No luck - neither the link nor the speedlights came on. I plugged the same cable into my laptop and it immediately detected the network with blinking lights - so it's not a cable. Tried many, many times to connect to a port on the motherboard - and got a very intermittent and very brief connection (tenths of a second) and then drops. I immediately called MSI tech support and got basically this: excuse your luck with our entry-level motherboards (suggesting that this wouldn't have happened had we bought a high-end component). You received one of the 1-2% rejections. Contact the seller for a replacement item. Tell that frustrated kid building their first gaming PC that they'll be waiting days again for a product replacement and just hope you don't win the lottery with a crappy product again. I have been in IT for many years and have built my share of PCs and enterprise servers. Never have a bad Ethernet connection, even with the most affordable components. MSI lost me and more importantly my guys business due to their tech support (or lack thereof). I will get a replacement product from Revain - they have the best support and problem solving attitude. But as for the future, we won't be buying MSI products anymore, and you might be able to save yourself the utter frustration of such poor, apathetic, unempathetic, and ultimately useless "Tech Support".

Pros

Cons
