The product was easy to use as I knew which sponge to use for each product. The one that looks like a powder puff is used for the color while the sponge is used for the mink oil. Make sure to stir up the paint thoroughly, I made that mistake and it was very dark initially when I did the patch test. This project took about two hours. Be sure to use the gloves provided. If anything gets on your skin, use alcohol and it will come off immediately. I started honing my technique on the back of the couch and after a few tries, doing circles and rounds with a brush-like motion worked best. My sofa has porous spots, so a circular motion worked best. On flat surfaces that are not porous, a brush-like motion was best. The first photo was after applying the paint to the back of the sofa, hands and butt. You can see the difference in color throughout the project. Overall I give this product 5 stars! I highly recommend. Try it!
