Ideal for freezing individual portions of soups, broths, even beans, rice, tomato sauce, etc. Steel top frame keeps unfrozen contents stable as it is transported from counter to freezer. The day after freezing, I remove the frozen contents from the Souper Cube (remove the middle ones first for easier removal) and store the frozen contents in vacuum sealed bags in the freezer for up to two years. I have all sizes but this 1 cup size is the one I use the most as it's just my husband and I.
