I've spent months researching wireless headphones. I had very specific requirements that I refused to deviate from. Here's my unbiased opinion on these headphones. Pros: - Eco-friendly presentation and good cardboard packaging. - Comes with a carrying case, an extra pair of mesh ear pads and a carrying case. - Clarity of built-in microphone and speakerphone. . I spoke to my best friend and my mom and they both said I sound great. - Dedicated control buttons and toggle switches instead of stupid rotary knobs or unreliable touch controls. - Transparency mode. This is probably one of the best I've ever used. Build quality for the price. It's your standard plastic, but the headband is reinforced with a piece of metal. - Foldable design. - pairing. - Battery life. I have a small, narrow head. I could lean forward without worrying about them falling; However, when I try to lie down, they fall back. - Sound Signature. Most consumer headphones tend to get warm. Not this one. Every track I played through these headphones sounded lifeless and flat. People who listen to a lot of music need a difference in sound. They really need an app with preconfigured equalizer settings or the ability to customize their own. I would be interested to know how they sound afterwards. - Volume. This problem occurs due to the lack of any application or equalizer settings. I was able to set up a sound profile and enable the enhancement in Windows. I couldn't tweak anything on my phone to fix the volume issues without distorting the bass. If I turned the volume down below 50%, I could hear almost nothing. My ideal volume is between 40-50%. - Active noise cancellation. Aside from the sound and volume, this is perhaps the biggest disappointment. I'm convinced that ANC might not work on this device as I couldn't tell if it was on or off. I sit 15 feet from my air conditioner. When I put them on it really takes away some of the noise. This is called passive noise cancellation/isolation. But even at maximum volume, I could hear the fan in my bedroom or the sink while the dishes were being washed. I went out to eat and put this on. I could hear absolutely everything and everyone. It's not noise cancelling. At least I've never heard of a working noise cancellation. multipoint connection. I have a couple of Plantronics Voyager Focus UCs that I use for my work. You have a bluetooth multipoint connection and it works fine. If I get a call while my music is playing in the background, it pauses so I can answer the call. As soon as my call ends, they play my music again. With them I've often experienced lag when switching from callback to video or music. Sometimes the audio would stutter until I paused the video and restarted my headphones. This isn't a problem if you only need to do this once per blue moon. Today I had to do this several times. I also had trouble re-pairing the device. This fails unless I restart the headphones. I called Revain and reset them twice, once for ANC and once for audio delay/pairing and it did absolutely nothing. - Inability to return or exchange them through Revain. I've only owned it for 24 hours and have had way too many complaints/problems to deal with. I called and spoke to someone from Revain named Max. He spoke to his superiors. They were absolutely wonderful and gave me a full refund. I'd rather the company didn't make it difficult. At the very least, give people a 30-day grace period to deal with Revain first. Improvements/suggestions: - Create an app with custom equalizer settings and driver updates. Wrap the headphones around your neck. - 86 bags and include a hard case instead. - Provide longer charging cable and 3.5mm braided cable. - Allow users to use the headphones while charging. - Add an automatic pause/play function when you take off the headphones and put them back on. Give the user the ability to toggle transparency on and off instead of holding down a key.
