Review on ASUS VG24VQE Gaming Curved Monitor: πŸ’» 165Hz, Adaptive Sync, Flicker-Free, Blue Light Filter by Alan Sessoms

Revainrating 5 out of 5

27 " 75Hz; I would buy it again and recommend it.

I ordered a 27" 75Hz monitor for about $250 and it works great. I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend. Pros: The monitor is very versatile; it can be tilted and rotated and moved up and down with ease - even while gaming - Great gaming monitor for the price, comes with FreeSync and 75Hz (fps) for around $250 - I don't have any color issues, it sees everything good – cable routing is very light. The back slides out so you can thread cables through and then just plug it back in. I have a power cord, DisplayPort cable, mouse and keyboard all going through the base of the monitor. Comes with DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA. CableCon's: - If you need color accuracy for an art station, consider elsewhere. - You must enable FreeSync in your monitor settings (go to Picture > Scroll all the way down > FreeSync > On) You must use a DisplayPort cable The maximum HDMI frequency is 60Hz Notes: FreeSync is only for AMD graphics cards; nvidia; If you have Nvidia, consider GSync or a monitor without any kind of sync. If you want to turn the monitor completely vertically from the horizontal, you have to reach for the monitor. At this price point ($200-$300) you have to choose which features you need. want. Some features include universal monitor positions, free sync/gsync, cable management, color accuracy, ultra wide screen, curved screen, and video refresh rate. This monitor focuses on versatility, free syncing and cable management.
