I liked them so much I bought them again! The instructions are simple and the reviews seem to have a flaw - they didn't read the instructions. We strongly recommend using a plastic zipper and going from the top (back and forth) at least 3-5 times. This ensures that there are no small gaps at the top of the bag that allow air to slowly enter the bag. After doing this I never had a problem emptying the bag. Excellent size bag (XL). I can easily fit 25 shirts or 10 sweatshirts in an XL bag. For my girlfriend's clothes, we took an entire 8-gallon bag (a regular $5 bag) and put it in a pouch. It then took 3 compressed bags to replace the space one bag took up in her closet. Minus - like any plastic, they are relatively easy to tear. I hung one on an adjustable shelf, took duct tape and sealed the hole. I let the air out again and had no problems.
