Let me start by saying that I know I've gained some weight. I chose to do this because I went to belly dance classes about 2.5 years before Covid started and then actually just got a call that classes were going to start again next month. I was very excited when I saw this. It's absolutely amazing, but the dimensions are terrible. Now, like I said, I'm aware that I've gained weight (I'm 5'8" and 180 pounds). So I wasn't surprised that it didn't fit perfectly (usually they should like it in the picture). It literally only covered half of me. So here's my self esteem. I get my daughter to try it on at 5ft 10" and 120lbs (wears a size 2), it ALMOST went around her. So in my opinion that's a bad size for what it should be. The quality and look of the belly dance cape is AMAZING, I wish it was bigger. I hope I can still do something with it. Because even for the smallest lady it just doesn't fit.
