I bought these because I had a small infestation of bed bugs, bed bugs in particular. They were all over my bed, building a small civilization bent on conquering the world (or just my room) where thankfully the carpet and wall only meet on a side and a half. In recent articles on how to prevent and stop bed bugs, some have recommended covering electrical outlets as bed bugs can hide there when it's "dangerous" and then eventually come back when it's safe. So I bought them to give them less hiding space. They work great. Easy to put on, easy to take off. Close outlets completely. I have them on an extension too. They don't fit perfectly. I seem to have layered them like dominoes, but the space where they sit on top of each other is very small so I'm not too worried and it's better than nothing. If you use this on your kid, they can definitely pick it up, but it works well enough for bugs. I'm not entirely sure why the square outlet caps aren't really needed. You are all around. If they were square they could easily be placed on extensions. Definitely 5 stars. I knew what I was buying and what they looked like. Costs.
