I've read negative and average reviews. I was very apprehensive about purchasing a potential $60 paperweight. I've used it way too many times in the last two weeks and I'm very happy with the results. Drop test passed. Multiple Use - Passports. Recommend yes. I had a stuck schrader valve on a battery that was leaking. I have the tools to change the valve while the system remains pressurized, but to do this the accumulator must accept the valve and a replacement Schrader valve must also be in good condition. failure and failure. In any case, insert a spare battery and make the first attempt. The pump worked great and pulled the perfect vacuum. The engine was hotter than expected, but no problem. I loaded up the system and everything became roses and smiles. Two hours later, after a loud puff of air, I discovered that the spring on the new battery had failed and I had lost the charge. Reset the connection and it passed the break test. It turned out solid. Vacuum #2 - worked great. I turned around after pulling the vacuum and quickly sent the pump off the radiator to the floor. I was lucky, the pump and sensors were not affected. The gauge line seemed to cushion the fall. I started charging the system. You can come in and I had another thing to attend to. Pop goes the same spring connection. Lesson one: Don't buy aftermarket air conditioner junk. Bad quality control. Motocraft bought and installed. (Fits perfectly) Vacuum cleaner number 3 and everything still works great. The pump ran at 95+ degrees over three vacuums for over three hours. There is no noticeable loss of oil. Complete vacuum. Satisfies my needs and then some others. I suspect there will be lemons in both processes, but this one worked really well for my needs.
